Pre-registration closes Friday, April 26, 2013: Fee $20.00.
Late registration is from April 27, 2013 until race day morning: Fee: $25.00.
Students K-12 -- $15.00.

About TSD
The Tennessee School for the Deaf is a state-supported residential school for hearing-impaired children in grades pre-school – 12. The school has served the citizens of Tennessee for over 150 years. All proceeds from the Run for the Deaf will support direct services to students at TSD.
Course Description
The race will begin and end on the campus of the Tennessee School for the Deaf and is run through the beautiful and scenic Island Home Community in South Knoxville. The runners in the 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012 Knoxville Marathons voted the Island Home Neighborhood as the best neighborhood on the marathon course. The course is certified by the USATF (#TN04014) and is chip timed.
Course Etiquette
No roller blades, bicycles, or dogs allowed on the course. Use of earphones or headsets is prohibited. Persons with strollers will start last.
Awards
Each registered participant will receive a Run for the Deaf souvenir t-shirt. Awards will be given to the top male and female overall finishers, the top male and female Masters finishers (40+), the top male and female Grandmasters finishers (50+), and the top male and female Veterans (60+). The top 3 finishers in each age group (10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & over) will also receive awards. Participants are eligible for only one award.
